Just.worn: Black & Silver

So this outfit features plenty of black and silver and a fair few studs (my favourite way to bling up an outfit) even if they are a little blurry! However these are the last pictures to be taken with my little point and shoot nikon, as I have finally upgraded to a shiny new DSLR and cannot wait to start snapping my outfits with it. No more blurred out of focus shots, only crystal clear pictures of what I'm wearing and anything else I can't resist taking a picture of!

Just.worn: Skirts and Sneakers

It's not winter just yet so I still have time to make the most of the little sunshine we have left and rock skirts (and sneakers) just like this. These adidas are one of my favourite pairs of my ever growing collection of kicks and as much as I hate the term 'sneaker', it sounds sooo much cooler to be addicted to sneakers than it does to trainers. Yet it is almost impossible to say the word sneakers without an American accent, so maybe sneaks might keep me sounding a little more English yet just as cool?

Just.worn: Flat Fashion Shoes

I've been wanting to try out these Zara shoes for ages, but its been a little too sunny (believe it or not). I thought I'd keep my outfit quite masculine to match my lovely new shoes. I love layering shirts under jumpers with the collars peeping out, although I would love to get some interesting collar tips, failing that, I've found stud earrings work just as well.

Just.beauty: A Case of Vanity

Top 5: Clarins Beauty Flash Balm & Foot Beauty Treatment Cream / Essie Nail Polish in Lacquered Up / The Body Shop Natrulift Refreshing Eye Roll-on / Lush A Million Kisses Lip Tint

These are my current top 5 beauty products, and I could pretty much survive with just these every day. Clarins flash balm is the ultimate beauty cream, its all I need in the mornings instantly moisturising and refreshing, my skin is left super soft and positively glowing. Its also great to use in the evenings to give my skin a boost before I go out, which I often use with The Body Shops eye roll-on to help hydrate and brighten my tired eyes. Long days at work on my feet leave them needing a little pampering and Clarins  treatment cream completely soothes my tired feet after a long day. Finally I'm a little in love with all things red at the moment and Essie's nail polish is that perfect bright red you can imagine movie starlets wearing in the 1940s teamed with matching red lips, Lush's lip tint is not only the most vibrant red but moisturises lips to make them kissably soft (not to mention totally edible)!

Although I could probably survive on just the above, I do like to treat my skin well with a few other products that I fit nicely into my daily beauty regime.

I love The Body Shops Nutriganics range as it is certified organic, its full of lovely natural ingredients that help smooth and refresh your skin. My two favourite products from the range are the cleansing gel and miracle product Drops of Youth, designed to enhance, smooth and moisturise to leave skin looking fresher and healthier. All you need is a couple of drops every day under your moisturiser. I am a believer that you should cleanse, tone and moisturise and so I also use The Body Shops calming Aloe toner followed by Origins Perfect World moisturising cream, its perfect for day and night, not to mention that the white tea in it makes it smell amazing!

Finally my favourite makeup essentials that I cannot be without. The Body Shops All-in-one concealer stick, perfect for disguising blemishes and using under eyes and under the brow bone to brighten up your eyes. Clinque's high impact mascara is their best seller and my all time favourite mascara, it creates super voluminous luscious lashes. My new discovery is Chanel's nude coloured khol pencil, perfect for lining the lower lid which has a widening and brightening effect on the eyes.

Just.bought: Boy London

Having been at work all week and stuck in my uniform, I decided on my day off today to have my own casual friday. Keeping it casual in my new Boy London tee I picked up from Selfridges last week, a rolled up pair of denim skinnies and my favourite white converse. I practically live in my converse which I have almost worn to death, so I think its about time I get myself a new pair. These blinged up beauties here could be a future DIY project and believe it or not I already have the swarovski crystals just need the converse, and nothing but a blindingly white new pair will suffice!

Just.been: London

So here's me on a sunny trip to London, with not only a better picture of me in my new zara sandals, but of me sporting one of my favourite accessories I always seem to acquire on trips to London... An infamous yellow Selfridges bag!
What started out as a cultural trip to visit a new exhibition at The Royal Academy of the Impressionists, turned into (as usual) a little bit of tourist cliches and shopping trip. Made clear by my photo stood next to an amazingly decorated Olympic mascot statue and armfuls of Selfridges bags. Although I could not have had a better day in London for the sun was shining, the art was spectacular and the shops still had bargains to offer me. I managed to find myself a great little black top in the last of the Zara sales, a Boy London tee (which I have been wanting forever) and a couple of beauty treats from Chanel. A day bargain hunting in London always requires comfortable shoes for an obscene amount of walking, so my lovely and flat sandals were the best possible choice. I wore them with a casual white cotton shirt and a pair of leather shorts, accessorised with my new neon bling and the usual Raybans. The day ended with a stroll through Hyde Park, where I was able to catch a glimpse of just about everyone enjoying the last of the sunshine in every which way imaginable.
